Southern California Flex Academy is a tuition-free K-12 public online school in California, serving families across Kern, Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Orange, Riverside, and Inyo Counties. Enrollment for the 2026/2027 school year is now open — and the path to enrollment is simpler than most parents expect.

Southern California Flex Academy teachers work with students to engage them in academic inquiry, skill building, and to foster curiosity.
Teachers work with elementary, middle and high school students to review lessons and assessments and to guide and support students and learning coaches through the program.
Teachers, parents, and students meet on a regular basis to evaluate progress and provide additional enhancement learning opportunities. The learning coach, which is typically the parent or legal guardian, serves as an enthusiastic supporter, dedicated to the academic success of the student.
